Our DevOps team supports the growing needs of the company by working collaboratively with multiple teams. We support the Engineering team to architect, maintain, and improve the reliability and performance of ZenGRC for our growing list of both on-prem and hosted customers. We support the Customer Success team by maintaining technical documentation, deploying new servers, and providing technical support when necessary. Finally, we support the company as a whole by identifying shortcomings in our processes to improve efficiency, decrease cost, and minimize human error across our entire technical organization. 

Job Description: 
Short term 
Maintain documentation (e.g., deployment procedures, disaster recovery, backup procedures, security settings)Build and deploy monitoring infrastructureMaintain and improve CI/CD infrastructureEnsure system integrity, safety, and security of customer data, and security of internal systemsPlan and execute configuration change operations both at the application and the infrastructure level 

Long term 
Propose ideas and solutions to reduce the workload by automation (emphasize automation and engineering over toil and operations) Collaborate with engineering to:Define Service Level Objects and availability guarantees for softwareReview architecture for new features and deployment requirementsPlan capacity, provisioning, and change managementUnderstand application security model and plan for mitigating possible threatsDevelop the ZenGRC API, SDKs, and integration platformWork closely with Solutions Architects inside/outside ReciprocityWork with product and customer support to ensure we're optimizing the right metrics. 

- Qualifications: 
- Proven experience building, scaling and operating software in AWS 
- Proficiency with Linux systems and at least one dynamic programming language (e.g., Node, Python, Ruby) 
- A working understanding of Docker, AWS, and MySQL/Postgres 
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and work in a complex environment 
- The ability to separate good from perfect with a bias to get things done 
- Proficiency in configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet) 
- A strong desire to continue learning 

- Nice to have: 
- Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools 
- Kubernetes or other container scheduler
